For most of my career I've built automation for real businesses — publishing pipelines, booking systems, trading operations, WhatsApp workflows that answer at 2am. Somewhere along the way the tools got good enough that "automation" stopped meaning scripts and started meaning staff: AI that holds a job, not a demo.

Since May 2025, AI employees I built have been running live inside major corporations — drafting, posting, following up, reporting — managed by their owners like human employees, over email or whatever messaging app they already use. The way I see it: an AI employee is exactly like a real employee.

You wouldn't take an intern on day one and hand them the keys to your entire systems. You put them through training. You give them real work, check everything, correct them in plain English. Then bigger jobs, then the sensitive ones — and once they've proven themselves, you trust them to run their part of the business on their own.

AI employees are no different. Yours starts in approval mode — everything lands on your desk before it reaches a customer, and a human (usually me) stays close. Then you train it: your rules, your boundaries, your voice. As it proves itself, you hand it more — until the workflows you choose run end to end without you. Some owners keep approvals on everything forever; some let a proven employee own its whole workflow. Your business, your call, your pace.
